After tea, breakfast, and devos to kick off the day, we went to the shop to get back to work on the Prone Trolley and wheelchair. I put a second coat of blue paint on the bottom section of the prone trolley while Van Dyke went out to buy more welding rods because we had gone through an entire box already. Blake worked on welding the push rims onto the wheels after Rewanta took the tires off so they wouldn't burn. Giraldo worked on drilling the mounting plate holes in the shop while Thomas and Cai cut the plywood for the prone trolley. Travis was working on grinding and perfecting the wheelchair frame he welded yesterday since Blake was taking up the welder for the morning. After lunch Travis was able to finish welding the other side frame of the wheelchair once Blake wrapped up welding the push rims onto the wheels. Thomas and Cai worked on cutting the Prone Trolleys chest piece which proved to be more difficult than expected given the equipment we had. They modified the template and will finish up cutting that tomorrow. Sasank, an intern at the hospital that Travis met playing basketball, invited us to a pickup hockey game over on the basketball courts. We wrapped up work in the shop a little early to go over and join that. They already had a lot of people playing so most of us just watched. Blake hopped in on one team and played for a bit. After that, we walked to a new Americana restaurant we had heard about. We walked in and were welcomed by a fully themed 50s restaurant. Checkered floors, red stools, a faux jukebox the whole act. After our almost American dinner, Van Dyke and Giraldo headed to bed and the rest of us went back to my room to finish dying Thomas' hair. After our experience with the bleach last night, we had a better idea of what we were getting into with the blue dye. All in all, I think it was a pretty successful end to the day.
